Dwayne Jenkins

Dwayne is a Professional Music Teacher who has been teaching guitar lessons throughout Colorado for many years. He has a unique and exciting approach to quickly getting people of all ages having fun playing guitar.

Wes Collette

After being left out on the side of a country road in Illinois, I managed to follow two hippies to their house in the rural country and….No, just kidding. I’ve been involved with music my entire life. Started singing at a very young age and was in numerous award winning choirs and musicals. I had the opportunity to travel with some of these choirs and I even toured Europe. While doing this, I realized that no one would want to hear me sing acapella all the time. As much as I wanted to play piano, I never had a love for it that would allow me to play well enough to support my voice. So I turned to guitar and started seriously playing at the age of 17. After high school, I attended Berklee College of Music and the University of Northern Colorado School of Music. Years ago, my first guitar teacher asked me to help him out and teach at his studio in Colorado Springs. Since 2005, I have been teaching at the Music Education Center (120th and Main) in the north suburbs of Denver and out of my home studio in Thornton (128th and Colorado).
